Get to know Climate Impact Innovations Challenge

Climate Impact Innovations Challenge (CIIC) is Indonesia’s largest climate innovations tech competition. Building on its success in 2023 and 2024, CIIC continues to provide a platform for tech innovators to showcase their sustainable innovations in addressing ecological challenges and mitigating the impacts of climate change.

CIIC 2025 provides the platform for teams to compete in three tracks for a total prize pool of Rp10 billion to pilot their solutions within Indonesia.

Only teams that have created a minimum viable product with the intention of commercialization are eligible to apply.

The three tracks of CIIC 2025

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to transform industries worldwide, we strongly encourage applicants with innovative solutions that leverage AI technology and intersect with the three tracks to apply for CIIC 2025. Let’s showcase the power of AI to drive impactful climate solutions!

Application criteria

  • Plans to pilot the solution in Indonesia to create minimum viable product with the intention for commercialization
  • Possesses an original and innovative proposal
  • Proposes an impactful solution that addresses key challenges in at least one of the three tracks of the Climate Impact Innovations Challenge 2025: Energy Transition, Sustainable Agriculture, or Circular Economy
  • Presents a feasible solution that can be adopted quickly and perform well in a large scale setting
  • Potential for commercially viable solution, with a large market size
