Get to know Climate Impact Innovations Challenge
Climate Impact Innovations Challenge (CIIC) is Indonesia’s largest climate innovations tech competition. Debuted in 2023, CIIC provides a platform for tech innovators to showcase their sustainable innovations in addressing ecological challenges and mitigating the impacts of climate change.
CIIC 2026 provides the platform for teams to compete across three tracks, for a total prize pool of Rp15 billion to pilot their solutions in Indonesia.
Only teams that have created a minimum viable product with the intention of commercialization are eligible to apply.

We are seeking innovative solutions that promote renewable energy adoption, sustainable mobility systems, and efficient resource use.

We strongly encourage eligible projects with the potential to generate internationally-recognized carbon credits under these 3 tracks to apply.
A dedicated special prize will be awarded to outstanding carbon projects.
Applicant criteria
- Develop a pilot to create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with a clear, defined roadmap for commercialization.
- Possess an original and innovative proposal for the current climate tech landscape.
- Propose an impactful solution that addresses key challenges in at least one of the three tracks of the Climate Impact Innovations Challenge 2026.
- Present a feasible solution that can be adopted quickly and perform well in a large-scale setting.
- Demonstrate potential for a commercially sustainable business model targeting a large market size.
